When we analyse a business, we look at its market position, competitiveness, future prospects and the extent of our ability to influence its management. After several restructuring activities of our businesses in the past two years, most of the balance of our assets is majority owned by CITIC Pacific. In order to withstand the cyclical nature of our main businesses, keeping other businesses like energy, tunnel and Dah Chong Hong will continue to provide stable cash flow and profits to CITIC Pacific.
