Jiangyin Xingcheng Special Steel

Jiangyin Xingcheng Special Steel is located in Jiangsu Province in the eastern part of China. It is situated next to the Yangtze River and has a 100,000 tonne wharf providing efficient transport of raw materials and finished products. The wharf has been expanded to accommodate the 115,000DWT ships ordered by CITIC Pacific.

With annual production capacity of 6 million tonnes at the end of 2011, Xingcheng Special Steel is a leader in the manufacturing of special steel in China. Its main products include bearing steel, gear steel, spring steel and special steel plates. These products are used in industries such as auto components, machinery manufacturing, energy and shipbuilding.

Xingcheng Special Steel has two bar production lines, which produce bar products for high-end auto components sold to customers such as Toyota, Honda, General Motors, Volkswagen and Citroen.

Jiangyin Xingcheng Special Steel underwent an expansion programme adding 2.6 million tonnes of medium-to-thick plate producing capability. The two production lines can produce plates that are 3,500mm and 4,300mm wide.

Xin Yegang

Xin Yegang became part of CITIC Pacific in September 2004. It currently has an annual production capacity of three million tonnes, including the capacity of Daye Special Steel, an A-share listed company in which CITIC Pacific indirectly holds a 58% interest. Xin Yegang's products include bearing steel, gear steel, spring steel, carbon structural steel and seamless steel tubes that are used in the auto, petrochemical, power and machinery manufacturing sectors.
