Acquired 35% equity interest in Wal-Mart East China Stores Co., Ltd.

Variation arrangement in relation to Jiangsu Ligang Electric Power Company Limited ("the Joint Venture") pursuant to which in consideration of Sunspark Power Investment Company Limited paying a compensation of RMB500 million, the terms of the existing joint venture contract and articles of the Joint Venture shall be changed to a long term joint venture in accordance with the requirements under the Law of the People's Republic of China on Sino-foreign Equity Joint Ventures.
