Mr Chen is the president of CITIC Pacific.

Prior to his current appointment, Mr Chen served as vice president of China CITIC Bank Hangzhou Branch, general manager of CNCB (Hong Kong) Investment Holdings, executive director of CITICPrudential Life Insurance Company, and executive director and general manager of CITIC-Prudential Asset Management Company.

Mr Chen holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He is a Chinese Certified Public Accountant and holds an international accountant qualification.
