Discovery Bay is a large-scale residential development jointly developed by CITIC Pacific and HKR International, each holding a 50% interest. Located on the northeast coast of Lantau Island and adjacent to Hong Kong Disneyland, Discovery Bay covers a land area of about 650 hectares. It has become a landmark residential community with a wide range of amenities and recreational facilities including a private beach, parks, golf course, yacht club, clubhouse and an international standard ice rink. The Auberge Discovery Bay hotel was opened in 2013.
